Well the wife and I have made it to Kansas City and now it is time for new challenges.
We moved into a loft in the Crossroads area and are loving it. I am currently looking for a job in Public Relations, Marketing, Social Media or even Journalism... so if you know anything send me a message.
Also, I am going to post some images of our new house online so feel free to come back and take a look.
Thanks,
Clifford

I am ENGAGED!!!
Here is the quick catch up. I am working at KVD Communications now enjoying sane people and loads of work, but hey I like to keep busy, plus there will be travel.
Julie went home for two weeks earlier this summer and I was fortunate enough to get to go home for 6 days. While back, I popped the question to her and you know what? She said YES!
We are both very happy and it looks like the big date will be sometime in October.

A Christmas tree
So I have never had a real Christmas tree. I also never had my own dog either. But I learned one thing, the dog loves the real Christmas tree, he wants to eat it all the time.
Julie and I got done at the gym the other day and headed over to the tree guy. We picked out a little one, because our place does not cater to a large tree. We got it home and we decorated and it looks great, although, Julie, there are no presents underneath it yet, you should get some and put my name on them.
We took some pictures, drank some hot chocolate, ate popcorn, I know right after we went to the gym, and listened to some Christmas carols. But it was cool and I hope you enjoy the tree.

My Thanksgiving
I am starting to do my personal postings on this blog. I still have my hobby project, armchairsportsauthority.com, which now has its own blog. Keep an eye on that page though because I will be launching a new landing page that I designed myself.
OK, now time to talk about Thanksgiving, and oh my gosh was it sooooooooo good. Julie and I made everything and we made a lot of the stuff from scratch, including the Green Bean Casserole.
So since she is a vegetarian, of course, there was a discussion on what we would have for protein. But in the end we both won because we both made our own.
Since we saw Rachel Ray do it, we basted about everything in Apple Cider. Julie's Tofurky, which I have never had and was really tasty, was marinated in Apple Cider and garnished with onions and carrots.
My Turkey was made with olive oil, onions, parsley, poultry seasoning (sage) and marinated in Apple Cider. Since it was just me I did just a turkey breast, so it cooked faster and I get all the good meat.
For sides, I made most of them the day before, hurray for unemployment, were a delicious Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, stuffing, gravy and croissants.
We then finished up, a couple of hours later with some awesome pumpkin pie. Neither of us had made pumpkin pie before so it was kind of an adventure, but the results were excellent. It might be top ten pumpkin pies ever, sorry mom.
Overall the day was really relaxing and the dog was very tired, which if you would read his blog you would know would why, adogslife-jack.blogspot.com/.
